# Custom SSL Certificate

Using a custom SSL certificate allows access the web console without a self-signed certificate warning. The certificate can be changed in the advanced *Settings*. The certificate setting should first include the certificate then any intermediates, and the CA's certificate. After the certificate has been changed the web servers will automatically restart. If the SSL certificate is improperly configured and the web console becomes inaccessible it can be reset using the cli command. More information on resetting the SSL certificate can be found in the [**Commands**](/kb/vpn/system/commands.md) section.
